This presentation is just a quick overview... also possible by bike

Shows and concerts are organized in two of the city's classic venues: the Théâtre de Champagne, known as "le Cirque", and the Théâtre de la Madeleine (a scène conventionnée). Now two new venues offer other entertainment opportunities: the Cube in the Exhibition Centre and the Centre de Congrès de l’Aube with its auditorium. Consult the programs and practical information on the website of the Maison du boulanger, which is the cultural centre of Troyes at 03 25 40 15 55.

7 km from the Hotel de Troyes, via the Rocade, and without the traffic jams of the city centre, you can be one of the three million annual visitors and shoppers at the McArthurGlen Centre, a village with 210 prestigious brands in clothing, decoration, interiors, etc. at attractive prices. Gourmet stops await you between two shopping trips. 5 km away, almost in a straight line from our hotel, is the Centre Marques Avenue with many stores to satisfy many pleasures.

At 32 km by the D619, from our hotel, you will reach a magical, almost mysterious place: our Natural Park of the Forêt d’Orient, a place of biodiversity, and its Great Lakes with its nautical and leisure base. Everything is designed for families, for relaxation, walks, observation, leisure, and good food.

At each his own pace to make the complete tour of Lake Orient by bike from the Hotel de Troyes by taking the Vélovoie des lacs. Be aware that from Troyes, continuing on Saint-Julien-les-Villas to Dienville, you will have to pedal 42 km, and the most valiant can extend their trip to the Bird Observatory (from Mesnil-Saint-Père = an additional 7 km).

So, when you leave our hotel, turn right on rue de "Haute-Charme" and go straight to rue de la Paix: a whole program of serenity! At the end of this long street, turn left on rue Gambetta to reach the Haute-Seine canal and let yourself be guided by the "Vélovoie" signs. For a warm-up, you can try the Voie verte de la Seine (14 km) and the Voie verte des Viennes (3 km).

We will be happy to provide you with information about bicycle rentals

At 52 km on the D619, you will reach the town of Dolancourt knowing that "Nigloland", written on the road signs, will have marked out your route. This is the village with multidimensional attractions that delights young and old on the way there and puts them to sleep on the way back, exhausted after all the amusements.

And of course, last but not least, let's talk about champagne on this blessed Aubois territory, and its famous route to follow: the Champagne Tourist Route and its thirty or so picturesque villages between Villenauxe-la-Grande and the Côte-des-Bar region.

These vineyard craftsmen, these artists of the fermentation, will be pleased to share with you their passion, their expertise, and the stakes to come to perpetuate this non relocatable heritage. Tasty stops in the surrounding inns will allow you to return safely to the Hotel de Troyes in Champagne.
